The Quarry Hole 4

The 4th is the first par three – and it's a long one!

The 4th hole plays downhill from a former taconite spoil pile. The green is an ample target with a wide frontal entrance, since some golfers will hit a driver. A smart play is a long running shot with a draw to take advantage of the greens reverse slope. This hole is similar to the famous Redan hole in North Berwick, Scotland.

The large green is subtly contoured, and any shot reaching the surface is a candidate for a birdie putt.
