Directions to Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort from the Twin Cities
Take Interstate 35 north to Cloquet (approx. 2 hours).Take the Range Cities exit (Hwy. 33), stay on Hwy. 33 until it merges with Hwy. 53N.
Follow Hwy. 53N until you reach Eveleth (approx. 60 miles).
When you get to Eveleth, take the Hwy. 37E exit into Gilbert, follow that down Main Street.
You will come to the intersection of Hwy. 135E. (Right exit) Follow that for approx. 9 miles to Biwabik. You will be on Main Street.
The Giants Ridge exit is approx. 1 1/2 miles from the city of Biwabik on the left side of the road. You will make a left turn onto County Road 138.
Follow County Road 138 for 3 1/2 miles and Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort will be on your left. Welcome to northeastern Minnesota\'s finest four-season resort destination!
Directions to Giants Ridge® from Thunder Bay, CANADA
Take Highway 61 south out of Thunder Bay to the US border. Upon crossing the US Border, continue south along Minnesota's north shore of Lake Superior to Silver Bay. There, exit right (to the west) into the community of Silver Bay. The road is marked Superior National Forest Scenic Byway. The reassurance marker signs are green in color and show a pine branch with cones. (The route takes you past the shopping center, high school and then out of town onto Lake County Hwy 5 past the Superior Hiking Trail parking lot, then curves right to join with Lake County Hwy 4 and then curves left to become Lake County Hwy 15. This eventually becomes St Louis County Hwy 16.) There are also signs along this route marking it as Forest Highway 11.As this part of the route goes through the Superior National Forest the following are included as further reassurance.
Superior National Forest Scenic Byway will take you across country through the rural communities of Toimi and Fairbanks. You will pass Sullivan Lake, Cadotte Lake and several creeks. Just after the Jenkins Creek Hunter Hiking Trail you will follow the Superior National Forest Scenic Byway onto County Hwy 110 into the City of Hoyt Lakes.
Proceed forward through Hoyt Lakes and then on into the City of Aurora. In Aurora, turn right at the first stop sign onto South Main Street West and follow through town. Turn left at at the stop sign onto West 3rd Avenue North. Follow this straight through on HWY 135 S to County Road 138/Giant Ridge Road. Take a right onto County Road 138/Giant Ridge Road and go approximately 3 miles to the resort.

Giants Ridge has a 12 passenger van available to pick up golf and ski guests in need of transportation to and from the Eveleth/Virginia, Chisholm/Hibbing, and Duluth airports. Guests should call the golf shop or ski chalet ahead of time to confirm availability and pick-up.The cost is as follows (roundtrip):

miles and turn left (north) on Highway 135;
travel 27 miles (north) to Highway 169.
Turn left (west) on Highway 169 and travel
approximately four miles and turn right (north) on
County Road 77. At County Road 104, turn right
and travel two miles to the Fortune Bay entrance.
Approximate travel time: 30 minutes.
From The Wilderness at Fortune Bay To Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort
From County Road 104, turn left (south) onto
County Road 77; follow to Highway 169; turn left.
Follow Highway 169 (east) for approximately four
miles to the intersection of 169 and Highway 135.
Turn right and follow 135 (south) approximately
27 miles, where 135 curves sharply right. After the
curve, travel 1.5 miles; watch for the entrance sign
to Giants Ridge (Giants Ridge Road) on your right.
Approximate travel time: 30 minutes.
