Minnesota Snowshoeing at Giants Ridge
The ski area is closed for the season. Thank you to everyone who visited Giants Ridge this past winter; it was a great season!
Did you know snowshoeing is the fastest growing winter sport in the world? It is a great way to explore the outdoors in winter, easy to learn, very inexpensive, and great exercise. Giants Ridge features beautiful trails and scenery, and all of the trails are accessible FROM the mountain base area and meander through the woods surrounding the resort. There are five snowshoe trails at Giants Ridge: North Face, Single Track, Lower and Upper Sleeping Giant, and Deer Valley. Some trails may be accessed by taking a chair lift, and some may be accessed FROM the mountain base. Snowshoes are available for rent and trail passes are required.
