Giants Ridge & Ikon Pass Partnership FAQ

Giants Ridge has announced it is joining the Ikon Pass as a Bonus Mountain for the 2026–27 winter season as a strategic next step for the resort’s growth. The Ikon Pass is a multi-resort season pass that provides skiers and snowboarders access to more than 50 mountain destinations worldwide through a single pass.

What are Bonus Mountains?
Bonus Mountains are a collection of destinations across North America as a benefit to Ikon Pass holders, offering two days of access at each Bonus Mountain. Access to Bonus Mountains is not available on Ikon Base Pass or Ikon Session Pass.

How do Ikon Pass holders use their 2 days at Giants Ridge?
Access is direct-to-lift. Ikon Pass holders may go directly to the lift, where their Ikon Pass will be scanned for access. No lift reservations are required. Blackout dates apply: Dec. 26-30, 2026, Jan. 16-17, 2027, and Feb. 13-14, 2027.

What benefits do Giants Ridge season pass holders receive?

In turn, Giants Ridge season pass holders receive a 50 percent discount on the purchase of an Ikon Session Pass 3-Day. The three-day Ikon session pass, currently priced at $399, provides three days of access to more than 40 Ikon destinations. How do Giants Ridge pass holders redeem the discount?

To receive the discounted three-day Ikon Session Pass, Giants Ridge pass holders will receive a Promo Code via email. They can use this code to purchase the discounted three‑day Ikon Session Pass online at IkonPass.com. Pass holders have until Dec. 31, 2026 to make the purchase.

MNSAA 4th Grade Passport

4th Graders ski free all season long at Giants Ridge!

This is one of the biggest winter perks in Minnesota. Once enrollment is complete, your Fourth Grader unlocks unlimited lift access at Giants Ridge for the entire season. Come for a day or come every weekend. The Passport gives kids the freedom to ski as much as they want at one of the state’s top winter destinations.
