Winter Groups

ALPINE & NORDIC GROUPS

Scheduled groups of 15 or more people qualify for discounted Alpine Lift Tickets, Nordic Trail Passes, and equipment rentals. Enjoy one complimentary Lift Ticket or Trail Pass for every 15 purchased.

Group Requirements:

15 or more people to qualify for discount.
72-hour advanced reservations required.
All group members must be confirmed on Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.
All group payment must be made in full on Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date. This will ensure RFID Cards are printed and ready for your visit.
Waivers (lift and rental) must be completed by all group members on Friday PRIOR to arrival in order to receive Lift Tickets. A complete list of participants and email addresses will be required to ensure all Waivers are signed.

TUBING GROUPS

Scheduled groups qualify for discounted tubing tickets. Enjoy one complimentary ticket for every 15 purchased.

Tubing Group Requirements:

Reservations are based upon availability.
Tubing is scheduled in 2-hour time slots.
72-hour advance reservations required. (Two week notice for weekdays)
Single form of payment PRIOR to scheduled arrival date. This will ensure that tickets are printed and ready for your visit.
Waivers must be completed by all group participants Friday PRIOR to arrival. A complete list of participants and email addresses are required to ensure all Waivers are signed
Must be at least 42″ tall AND 5 years old.
One person per tube. Ski boots are not allowed on tubing chutes.

SNOWSHOE GROUPS

Scheduled groups qualify for discounted tubing tickets. Enjoy one complimentary ticket for every 15 purchased.

Snowshoe Group Requirements:

15 or more people to qualify for discount.
48-hour advance reservations required.
Single form of payment PRIOR to scheduled arrival date. This will ensure that tickets are printed and ready for your visit.
Waivers (trail pass & rental) must be completed online by all group members PRIOR to arrival. A complete list of participants and email addresses are required to ensure all Waivers are signed

SCHOOL GROUPS

School groups are invited to learn to ski at Giants Ridge! Our school programs are designed to introduce the lifetime sport of downhill skiing to youth. Programs include special introductory group rates for all participants.

Mountain Kids Ski Day: 4th-12th Grade
Offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays starting January 7, 2025

School Group Requirements:

Group size will be limited to 125 (including teachers/chaperones).
72-hour advance reservations required.
Group payment must be made in full on Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date. Payment type must be from school in order to be tax exempt.
One complimentary ticket will be offered for every 15 paid students. Complimentary lift tickets have no monetary value, are not transferable to rentals or lessons, and must be used on the group's scheduled date. Rentals are not included with the complimentary lift ticket
Waivers (lift & rental) must be completed by parent/guardian (over 18), then turned into teacher(s) PRIOR to arrival. Teachers must provide a complete list of participants prior to arrival, to ensure all waivers are signed.
To offer the best possible experience, all group arrival & departure times must be confirmed on the Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.

HOMESCHOOL GROUPS

Homeschool Students, ages 6-18 are invited to learn to ski at Giants Ridge. Our Homeschool program is designed to introduce the lifetime sport of downhill skiing at a special rate to students. Helping to fulfill their PE credits.

Homeschool Mondays will begin January 6, 2025! (not available on Holidays 1/20/2025 | 2/10/2025 | 2/17/2025

Homeschool Student Requirements

Available to Homeschool students ages 6-18 (ages as of September 1, 2024).
72-hour advance reservations required.
Rates include Lift Ticket, Ski Rental, and Helmet
One complimentary ticket will be offered for every 15 paid students. Complimentary lift tickets have no monetary value, are not transferable to rentals or lessons, and must be used on the group's scheduled date. Rentals are not included with the complimentary lift ticket
Group size limited to 125
Must show proof of Homeschool (Letter of intent)
Must confirm number of students Friday PRIOR to scheduled date.
Single form of payment at time of check-in.
Waivers must be completed by all group participants Friday PRIOR to arrival. A complete list of participants is required to ensure all Waivers are signed
Special rates do not apply to anyone 19+
Walk-Ins not eligible for group rate

GROUPS LEADERS

As a Group Leader, you are responsible for coordinating the experience. Please contact our Group Sales Manager for available dates; or complete the Group Reservation Request form below to schedule.

All groups must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance. All numbers must be confirmed Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.
- A complete list of participants must be turned into the Group Sale Manager by Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.
- All Waivers must be signed online by participants by Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.
Rental Forms must be printed and completed for all equipment rentals PRIOR to arrival.
Prior to arrival, the Group Leader will arrange for a single form of payment for the whole group.
All group payments must be made in full Friday PRIOR to scheduled arrival date.
- Individual cash and check payments will not be accepted.
- This will ensure RFID Cards are printed and ready for your visit.
We request only the Group Leader(s) enter the Admissions & Guest Services Office to avoid congestion.
If lessons have been arranged, please check-in all students at the Lesson Desk.
One complimentary Lift Ticket will be offered for every 15 paid students.
- Complimentary Lift Tickets have no monetary value, are not transferable to rentals or lessons, and must be used on the groups scheduled date.
