Plaid Splash at Giants Ridge takes over the final day of alpine operations on Saturday, April 4, 2026, with a full-day celebration built around one of the most iconic spring traditions in Minnesota.
The day is packed with energy and something for every member of the family. From the crowd-favorite spring pond skim to interactive activities for all ages, there’s fun happening all day long. Younger guests can kick things off with a festive Easter egg hunt, while friends and families come together later for a free live concert to celebrate the final day of the season in style.
Plaid Splash also gives back. A portion of the event supports Biwabik EMS through a community giving initiative tied directly to participation, so the bigger the turnout, the greater the impact.
